'Allah Rakha'

Although his name backpacks the invocation, it appears not going too well with some splinters at home. The all time great music composer and singer, Allah Rakha Rahman (A. R. Rahman) has been devil’s choice always. With several national & international awards and  path-breaking records to his credit, he is one of the versatile Music Director India has ever produced. When the songs of ‘Roja’ were bee boying on everyone’s lips, we all felt that it was too early for him to be recognized. When he got Oscars, we all thought it was too late for him to be awarded. Moreover, the music he was felicitated for didn’t ‘ring’ well with the music buffs. And now, CWG theme song controversy... Some feel that it was too early for him to be given the responsibility. Going by the trend, the next opportunity resonates favorably for him, when we all would be saying that it was too late for him. India wants to memo that it will not go by the history any further. Gone are the days when a monopolistic music director, film director, singer, leader ruled the roost and we accepted whatever offered. New India wishes to ring up that one has to prove his/her mettle each time, worthy to be accepted and recognized by the aborigines. Long-live Rahman!!! Eid Mubarak!!!
